On Sunday, January 31st we will kick off Catholic Schools Week with an Open House for the entire school.
We would also like to invite anyone who might be interested in making your child a part of St. Alban Roe Pre-Kindergaten Program to this day. There will be information and tours of our two beautiful classrooms. It is a fun and learning filled place.
Please come and join us.
We will be starting our new theme on Monday, January 25th. It will be called the "Construction Zone."
Our sub-themes will be:
I Can Build Build With Me Everybody Builds
The children will be exploring the world of construction. Our centers will expand on that theme. The children will be using the sand table filled with all sorts of small trucks, back loaders and other itmes so they can pretend that they are construction workers. The work bench will also have items for them to pretend that they are carpenters. It should be a fun filled theme for the children.
In February our theme will be "In the City, In the Country."
Early in January our 7th Grade Buddies came to visit our classroom. The children along with their buddies created a snowman picture. The pictures are currently hanging on the wall outside our classroom.
The next few weeks in Religion we will be covering the following lessons:
* We Are Friens of Jesus *Jesus Feeds Many People
*Jesus Gives Us Special Food *David Teaches Us to Pray
