WELCOME TO PRESCHOOL!
We have finished our 3rd year here at St. Alban Roe Pre-School. It was another wonderful year filled with fun and learning.
We look forward to next year. There are currently openings for our Pre-K program. You may call the school office and speak with Debbie Abbenhaus or feel free to contact me through this web site.
Our morning session starts at 7:45am and ends at 11:00am. Our afternoon session starts at 12 noon and ends at 3:05pm.
We are blessed with two wonderful classrooms that the children utilize. One classroom is the place where much of the academic work goes on (language arts and math concepts, shapes, and colors). We have a wonderful Religion program which introduces the children to Jesus and his life. Our second classroom has lots of hands-on activities. Activities to strengthen fine motor skills occur here. The room contains a child size kitchen for the children to play in, blocks, art materials, a sensory table, etc.
When the weather is good, we go out on the wonderful school playground.
The children receive a snack and drink each day.
The children have parties for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter. We end the year with a Pre-K Field Day. The Pre-K children put on a Christmas Pageant each year and it is a wonderful experience for the children and all who attend.
Our Parent Orientation is scheduled for August 13th, 2010. Classes for the Pre-K will begin on August 30th.
